The Challenge
Exhibition • Film • Publication • Live Tastings
Six foundational yet forgotten Goan dishes, adapted for modern appliances.
Designed to feel like a museum, smell like a home kitchen, and end with recipes people could cook that night.
Not just a demo booth, it was a living,
multi-sensory experience.
The Experience
Exhibition panels mapped culinary histories, rituals, and techniques.
Tasting counter ~1,300 bowls served – “hard to argue with a spoon”.
Film expert interviews looping in the space.
Publication histories and appliance-ready recipes (copies placed in hand).
Social media & the website turned curiosity into website visits.
The space was consistently alive with visitors tasting, reading, and conversing.
The tasting counter never went quiet—people lingered, questioned, and returned for seconds.
Booklets and zines were picked up eagerly, carried home as keepsakes, proof that the stories resonated.
The quiz and QR handoff created real conversations—people wanted to test what they’d learned and continue exploring online.
On social, the project sparked an organic ripple—audiences shared stories, tagged friends, and tuned in live, proving the format’s pull without paid amplification.
The Outcome
From almost scrapped → to national scale.
IFB commissioned Goan Table as a Pan-India quarterly magazine - which is now REGIONAL TABLE.
With on-site classes across 500+ IFB points,, web content, Instagram reels, and exhibitions at premier clubs across India.
A new, repeatable IP was born:
